As Ellen delves deeper into the undercover operation, she forms an unexpected bond with her handler Dennis, a retired M16 agent, and starts enjoying her time in Spain. ​The plot thickens when Darren escapes from prison and joins Tony’s criminal enterprise, leading Ellen to a moral dilemma of betraying her family or aiding in a dangerous drug heist. In a climactic final episode, Ellen must make a life-changing decision to either side with the police or her family, ultimately leading to a violent showdown with Tony and a revelation that catches the attention of a vengeful figure from her past. ​
