Season One: The Medic Nightshift

Emergency doctor Ria Sharma is no stranger to trouble. She’s our scatty, naïve, and socially awkward protagonist.
After coming out to her conservative parents, Ria is left living out of a suitcase on her friend’s couch. She’s plagued
by feelings of inadequacy and shame, which deepen after she repeatedly fails her exams as well as being dumped by
her girlfriend whom she came out for. With seemingly nothing left tying her to the UK, Ria signs off to move to the
greener pastures of Australia. With one nightshift left before her fresh start, Ria just needs to keep her head down.
Journalist Nicole, on the other hand, is measured, mature, and seems to have her shit together. Except…she’s on a
crusade to expose the sleazy network between an MP and a clandestine corporate’s involvement in the sale of the
National Health Service (NHS). Working undercover for a corrupt politician, Nicole believes she’s on a straight road to
a Pulitzer. Instead, her investigation into the murky world lands her in emergency fighting for her life. When the
politician’s assassins pursue Nicole, they wind up facing the wrath of Ria and the overworked hospital staff.
The high-octane series takes us on a wild ride through the hospital as the staff face not only the psychopathic
assassins but also a colossal storm obstructing emergency services. Does Ria have what it takes to step up? Who will
survive? Will it be the embattled hospital staff, or will it be the sadistic forces of the politician?

SEASON TWO LOGLINE: THE LOCUM

A burnt-out and heartbroken doctor leaves the chaos of the UK to find peace in the beautiful landscape of
Australia. Her plans go awry as she lands in a strange, rural town haunted by historical murders and the recent death of their beloved, local
doctor.
