The series delves into the minds of criminals to find out why they commit violent acts, exploring the boundaries between sanity and madness, and questioning whether inherent darkness exists within everyone. The serial arc delves into Lauren’s past, the murder of her mother, her  estranged sister’s recent return and the threat to them by the sister’s new boyfriend….is he their mother’s killer?
