A limited 3 part 60’ drama series based on true events, “DAMAGED” by Heidi Mumford-Yeo revolves around the stories of Samantha, Molly, and Chris, focusing on their interactions and the traumatic experiences they faced in the children  care home Skircoat Lodge. The narrative highlights the abuse endured by the residents, the systemic failures in the care system, the struggles of survivors to seek justice, and the importance of shedding light on past atrocities.

Through the characters of Samantha, Molly, and Chris, DAMAGED portrays the resilience of survivors, the challenges they face in seeking accountability, and the slow process of addressing historic child abuse and those guilty of it.

In the same vein as Mr Bates v Post Office, Chris Wild and the other victims are still fighting for justice. 75 people have taken their lives already due to the abuse they suffered. Multiple press stories have appeared.
